AUTUMN IN ITALY
Autumn in Italy was a dinner hosted by Chef Paulette to introduce people to Italy’s delicious autumn dishes. The goal of this project was to create a poster and file organization system that another designer can easily understand. Once the poster design was complete, each designer handed off their files to a partner for the partner to create a Facebook graphic and four Instagram squares.

The visual style of my poster was inspired by the chalkboard signs that are commonly found in restaurants or cafes. I found images of Italian meals and ingredients—which only made me slightly hungry—that I touched up to create cohesive lighting and vibrancy throughout the images. I created the banner title and the circular elements around the food in Illustrator.
Once my poster design was complete, I handed these files off to one of my design partners, Connie Meyer, who used the key assets from my poster to create a Facebook graphic and four social squares.
